As a self taught musician, John has honed and developed his skills over decades and has proven to be a natural performer with a smooth voice and a funky style. From the early 90’s John had a very successful working covers/original band which performed extensively in San Diego averaging 90 shows a year for over 10 years. It included all the hot spots and featured key performances for KPLN The Planet 103.7 radio station Earth Fair 1997, the KGB 101.5 Rockin Bowl, The Del Mar Fair, Viejas The Dream Catcher Showroom, Dicks Last Resort, tons of local club work, Private Engagements, Corporate, Events, and studio credits. John continues to write, record, and perform locally in San Diego. You can also catch him around town with his vocally oriented duet “French Toast and Stockings”

Maria began her musical studies in Venezuela at the Conservatory of Music Vicente Emilio Sojo at the age of seven. From there she studied theory and solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, history of music, choral, orchestral and operatic singing initiation within their lyric training. Maria has taken classes with such renowned teachers as Angelo D’adonna, Aquiles Machado, Lotty Ipinza and Suso Mariategui, among others. She belonged to the Opera Company of the West (Venezuela) and under
their guidance performed in more than a hundred concerts nationwide. She has participated in operas like Sour Angelica, Cavalleria Rusticana, Madame Butterfly and The Martyrs of Columbus. Similarly, Maria has ventured into other styles of singing, like jazz master hand Silvio Arocha, with whom she made her first album titled “Eclexias”. Likewise, she has made musical theater as part of the cast and vocal trainer Civil Association “Andante Theater” participating in musical works of “Godspell” by Stephen Schwartz (Season 2012 and 2014) and “surprises” from Dan Goggin (Season 2013-14). Fear of Phobias is a 5-piece, Murrieta based band that plays Classic Party Rock, Dance / Funk, “Totally 80’s” and more! A Fear of Phobias show is full of high energy, great music and a lot of fun. With a song list of over 125 songs, Fear of Phobias has been able to tailor their songs to the appropriate venue. Fans seeing them on a regular basis appreciate the high rotation of songs. Some of the venues the band has been playing regularly are Franklin’s Cove, J. Carters, The Tilted Kilt, Temecula Wine & Beer Garden, O’Hara’s and more. The band includes Dave Perry on guitar and vocals, Steve Adler on guitar and vocals, Tom Ventimiglia on keyboards and vocals, Roy DiVittorio on Bass and vocals, and Blair Banning on drums and vocals. With 5 singers in the band, Fear of Phobias is able to capture the essence of many more songs, as well as creating exceptional harmonies on many songs. And FOP plays a lot of those songs that people forgot they loved.  Whether it’s a Neil Diamond song or the Flock of Seagulls, the band will be satisfying guilty pleasures all night! Guitarist Dave Perry says, “Having keyboards in the band really gives us a distinct sound. All of our music is live. We don’t use prerecorded tracks. So if you hear trumpets, that’s Tom on keyboards. If you hear a flute or pipe organ, that’s Tom.”  Keyboardist Tom Ventimiglia adds, “We try to create a party atmosphere, were people can relax, dance and have fun.”   “I love playing with these guys,” says guitarist Steve Adler. “There is a chemistry that you just don’t find every day. This band has a great sound, great vibe and we know how to rock!”

Bodie, The Band is a five-piece ensemble of well-seasoned professional musicians and singers that enthusiastically presents a fantastic selection of crowd-pleasing classic rock & roll, blues, and country-rock songs spanning the last fifty years of American music.  Excellent lead and harmony vocals, outstanding lead and rhythm guitars, keyboards, bass guitar, drums, and percussion make up the band’s powerful sound.  Established in 2007, Bodie has performed, and continues to perform, at numerous Southern California public venues, Temecula Valley wineries, vintage car shows, and private functions including weddings and house parties.
