Event Details

Born in the South to a guitar-playing preacher, Tony Sharx’s unique style of music was birthed in the church. Growing up as the youngest of eight in a talented musical family and surrounded by different forms of music exposed him to the opportunity to discover his talent for playing a variety of musical instruments: drums, organ, keyboard, trumpet, bass guitar and lead guitar, his instrument of choice. Sharx’s father realized his incredible, self-developed talent for playing the lead guitar when he was only 14 years old and sent him to his brother, Sharx’s uncle, a renowned guitar player in his own right, for more rigorous lessons. It wasn’t long before his uncle announced that Sharx had mastered the skills he could teach him and it became clear to all that Tony Sharx was a young sensation destined for stardom!

Today, Tony Sharx has secured his reputation as an unparalleled musician and gifted vocal performer, performing weekly with his band. The appreciation for his sound and talent is apparent in the rapidly growing number of fans who attempt to enter the venue long after it’s filled, eager to hear his intensely invigorating performances. While Sharx prefers not to label his style of music, he is not hesitant to share that Prince and Bob Marley are two of his most instrumental influences. Once the Minister of Music at his father’s church, it stands to reason that Sharx’s goal is to spread the word of love through music, understanding that music has the magical and innate power to unite all people regardless of their race, creed, color, or background.

Think my words are just dressed up, enticing rhetoric? I suggest you make your way to a Tony Sharx performance and see if you’re not mesmerized by that matchless magic he makes.
