The Kepi Payne Project, established in 2013, evolved out of other projects to become a solid high energy cover band with very diverse musicians who perform all styles and genres of music. These genres include Jazz, Funk, R&B/Soul, Blues and Classic Rock. Their band has been inspired from many individual artists such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Al Green, Chaka Khan, Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks and well known groups such as Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire, Tommy James and The Shondells, The Temptations and many others.
