Formed in mid-2011. Originally was Ron Johnson (guitar) & Bob Lesher (harmonica & vocals). Ken Sheldon replaced Johnson in November, 2013, on guitar. Gary Rubenstein replaced Sheldon on guitar & vocal in June, 2015. Crosstown 2 is an offshoot of Tupelo Blue, a Blues quartet for med by Sheldon & Lesher in 1995. Two CDs have been released by the duo, ‘Crosstown 2’, with Johnson & Lesher, in 2012, and the recent ‘CT2’ with Sheldon & Lesher, in June, 2014. In 2017, a third CD, ‘Pacific Avenue Blues’, came out, comprised of all original tunes by Rubenstein & Lesher.
