September brings the very talented Jami Tobey. Bursting with vivid colors, big skies, shifting light and swirling shapes, the paintings of Jami Tobey are uniquely satisfying and truly original. The Southern California painter is perhaps best known for her intricate landscapes and tree paintings, where colors speak --- and sometimes shout --- with the emotion and energy of the subject. Using layers of acrylics and metallic ink, Jami’s smooth rhythms of color create a poetic balance as fields of color awaken and glow like stained glass. Meet Jami on Saturday, September 11th 6pm – 9pm
